Seeed launched their new line of robust industrial design, called 'Iot Into the Wild' of IP66 rated outdoor sensors. Easy to configure via bluetooth, with extremely long battery life, the line is well coordinated and consists of hardware products (environmental sensors, data-loggers, gateways and artificial intelligence (AI) sensors) in combination with software services (SenseCAP portal, mobile App, open dashboard, API for device and data management).
The SenseCAP S2100 LoRaWAN Data Logger for extensions with Analog/I2C/UART/RS485 interface receives data from hundreds of different add-on modules and forwards them via LoRaWAN. Thus, the most diverse sensors from the industrial sector can be integrated wirelessly or completely individual solutions for indoor or outdoor use can be developed. The application possibilities are almost unlimited, for example, after the installation of appropriate additional modules, electrical pulses can be recorded or liquid levels, pH value, NH3 (Ammonia), H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) and much more can be measured. Significantly simplified integration via Plug & Play with pre-configured network servers (Helium, TTN and others), as well as its own free mobile app for immediate reading of measured values. In addition to setting parameters, the app also supports firmware updates and device cluster management.
PRODUCT DETAILS
SenseCAP S2100 data logger can collect data from multiple sensors and transfer the data through the LoRaWAN network. It is a LoRaWAN converter that converts MODBUS RS485/Analog/GPIO sensors into LoRa-enabled sensors, and therefore transfers data through the LoRaWAN protocol. You can easily enjoy the advantages such as low power consumption and long transmission range, without affording the cost of changing the sensors you are using.
Feature
Strong Compatibility with Sensors: It can support 100+ industrial sensors including various sensor types such as Analog(0~10V/4~20mA), RS485, and GPIO(Pulse).
LoRaWAN Wireless Transmission: Ultra-low power consumption and ultra-wide-distance transmission range. It has Max.10 years of battery life and can cover a transmission range of 2km in urban scenes and 10km in line-of-sight scenes.
Industrial Design: -40℃ ~ 85℃ operating temperature and IP66 rating, suitable for indoor, outdoor, and harsh environments such as high UV exposure, heavy rain, dusty conditions, etc.
Easy to Use: The sensor can be used out-of-box through Bluetooth configuration, and users receive the data on the phone, cloud servers, and different platforms in just a few clicks.
Powerful APP Support: SenseCAP Mate APP allows you to set the sensor templates and quickly turn the data logger into the sensor you want. Templates can be exported and imported to support various applications.
Compatible with Worldwide LoRaWAN networks: It can be used with different types of LoRaWAN gateways and is compatible with multiple LoRaWAN Network Servers (Helium, TTN, etc).
Description
Scan-and-Play: Easy Configuration via Bluetooth in Just 3 min
The Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 has reduced many configurations works, no need for connecting it to your computers or complicated wiring. You can easily configure the device in 4 steps:
- Connect sensor to data logger by screwing
- Connect App to Data Logger via Bluetooth
- Set Parameters using Mate APP: Protocol, Power Supply, Data Parsing, etc
- Check data on Mate APP or Web Portal
Support Industrial Sensors of Different Interfaces
The Mate APP allows you to configure Seeed's sensor parameters with one click to convert them to different types of LoRa sensors. It can also save the sensor parameters you configured as a template, which can be applied to the new data logger for deploying more sensors. You can download the APP here: 1. iOS; 2. Google Play; 3. App Center
S2100 LoRaWAN Data Logger is a single-channel collector, and only supports one of the following protocols at one time:
- RS485: Support standard RS485 Modbus-RTU protocol
- Analog: 2 x 0~10V or 2 x 4~20mA.
- GPIO: 1 x GPIO, collect level or pulse signal
Support 2 Power Supply Modes: 19Ah built-in battery and 12V DC
When you use low-power sensors, the data logger can work in Periodic mode. Powered by a built-in 19Ah Li-SOCl2 battery, it can be installed and deployed without additional power.
When you use a sensor with high power consumption, the data logger can work in Constant Power mode to use an external 12V DC power supply. We provide a matching Junction Box Kit so that the data logger can be quickly assembled and deployed in outdoor environments.
